Psalm 34 Praise for Deliverance from Trouble

I bless my Guardian at all times –
My mouth praises Godde continually.

My soul exults in my Protector –
the afflicted hear and are glad.

O glorify the Holy One with me,
together we'll exalt Godde's name!

I sought the Holy One who answered me,
and delivered me from all my fears.

Behold Godde, and be radiant;
this way your faces will never burn with shame.

I cried out and my Guardian heard me,
and from the midst of my troubles set me free ...

Our Protector's messenger encircles those who revere* Godde;
our Guardian redeems them.

O taste and see that the Godde is good!
Blessed is the one who finds refuge in Godde.

Worship our Holy Guardian, O saints,
those who revere Godde lack nothing ...

Daring youth, like lions, might suffer want and hunger –
but those who seek Godde lack nothing good.

Come, O young people, listen to me,
I will teach you what it means to reverence Godde ...

Who desires long life,
who yearns for many days, in order to enjoy good?

Guard your tongue from speaking evil words,
and your lips from speaking deceitfully.

Depart from evil, and do good;
seek peace, and pursue it.

Our gracious Guardian looks toward those who draw close –
Godde's ears are attuned to their cry.

Our Protector faces off against evil –
cuts off the remembrance of wickedness from the earth.

When those who have integrity cry for help, Godde hears,
and delivers them out of all their troubles.

Our Guardian remains close to the brokenhearted,
and rescues those with crushed spirits.

The friends of Godde often experience trouble;
but Godde the Holy One delivers them from evil ...

The faithful One's bones are intact;
not one of them is broken.

Evil destroys with wickedness –
condemnation haunts those who hate integrity,

but our Guardian redeems the lives of those who serve Godde –
none who take refuge in Godde will be condemned.
